A delicious breakfast treat. Add more or less syrup if you like. This recipe uses cups (240ml) but use any smallish mug. You don’t have to be too exact just don’t skimp on the cocoa.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups porridge
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup flaked almonds
  • 1/2 cup ground linseed
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup syrup e.g. a mix of date and rice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup of raisins or chocolate chips! optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix together try ingredients in a big bowl. Whisk together wet ingredients, pour over and mix well. Bake at 160C for 45 min or so, stirring a few times. Remove from oven, stir in raisins/choc chips and press down hard so it cools into a few chunks. Enjoy!
