Simple and delicious. Serve with green veg and your carb of choice.


  • 100 g yellow pea or fava bean flour
  • 100 ml water
  • 200 g root veg grated (e.g., beetroot, parsnip, carrot)
  • pinch black onion seeds
  • pinch smoked paprika or chilli optional
  • salt
  • handful coriander chopped
  • oil for frying


  • Mix together water and flour. Mix in veg, spices, salt and coriander. Place large spoonful of mixture into lightly oiled frying pan and cook a few minute each side.
