Something like the crispy seaweed you can find in Chinese restaurants - and it costs nothing compared to the pre-packaged stuff! Makes 1-2 portions, so you may need to double it as it goes quick!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ bunch kale leaves
  • ½ tbsp. olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp nutritional yeast optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 140C.
  • Tear the kale from the stalks and rinse. Allow to dry. Pop them into a bowl and add the olive oil, massage into the leaves until they are coated. Add the seasonings and toss to combine.
  • Spread the leaves out on a baking tray, making sure you don’t overcrowd the kale. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, rotating the baking tray every 10 minutes or so.
  • Leave to cool for a few minutes before digging in.
