Tahini Balls
The mixture may seem weird but just go for it! They’re delicious, and packed with energy and calcium. 1 cup = 240ml by volume.
Ingredients
- 1½ cup Tahini
- ½ cup Maple Syrup or similar
- ¾ cup Chopped Nuts
- ½ cup Dessicated Coconut plus extra for rolling
- ½ tsp Almond extract
- ¼ cup Cocoa
Instructions
- Blend tahini & syrup in a food processor first. It changes texture as it combines – it’ll seem strange but don’t worry. Then add & blend the rest of the ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in more coconut. You’ll see lots of oil coming out in the rolling process, this too is normal. Enjoy!
