We’re a workers’ co-operative, meaning the shop is owned and run by the people who work here. As a bricks-and-mortar store, we trade solely in person – creating the kind of place we’d want to shop in ourselves. We hope you enjoy it too.

Fresh bread arrives daily from The Handmade Bakery, Wye Bakehouse, and Holy Grain—three artisan bakeries using organic flour and traditional methods to craft exceptional loaves.
At the deli you’ll find a tempting range of homemade salads, curries, stews and baked delights made upstairs by our cooks for you to take away.
Nearly all of our fruit & veg is sold loose (and always has been). No need to bag it, we’re happier to have it loose and free at the till (or grab a re-usable bag)
A wide variety of staples (many organic) provide the basis for really good value meals. Look out for some unusual items alongside the basic pulses, grains, flours, nuts and spices, plus a growing “unpacked” range.
