We’re thrilled to share that our fridges are currently brimming with an abundance of fresh, leafy produce from our long-standing supplier Univert 🌿
For over 10 years we’ve been proud to work with Univert, gaining access to some of the freshest, highest quality produce from Provence, southern France, paticularly valuable as UK-grown, delicate, leafy greens and herbs start to wind down at this time of year.
Univert, founded in 1991, is one of France’s leading ethical and organic co-operatives, working with over 70 producers. Just this morning, in the fields around Saint-Gilles and Bellegarde, they’ve been harvesting oakleaf and batavia lettuces, giant fennel bulbs, tender baby spinach leaves, and fragrant herbs like coriander and parsley. These gorgeous greens are already en route to us and will be here by Thursday morning, perfect for brightening up and adding a dose of freshness to your plates.
On the fruit side, we’ve also got an abundance of deliciously zesty pomegranates and oranges from Agricoop this week. Enjoy them as they are, or try tossing them into a winter salad with roasted root veg for a sweet and tangy twist. Absolutely delicious! 🍊✨️
